Birthday Mumps

I spent my weekend out-of-town prior to my birthday (Monday, June 9), so as to reconnect with my old friends.

While I had so much fun, I got the mumps instead.  The last time I had mumps (according to my mother) was when I was 5. Yesterday I turned 35.

What a birthday gift!
