In response to Latu, Darnell and Laktu: WHAT? WHAT? and WHAT???? Are you seriously spewing that hatred onto your own children? What a burden to carry. Did you not know that after God made Adam he looked down at his work and said “Heck, I can do better than this!” Thus he created Eve. LOL LOL Besides it is well known that the men of the church manipulated certain parts of the Bible to make women look inferior and to control weak minded people. Heaven and Hell is a religious concept used to CONTROL! In your case it appears to still be working. God gave you a brain, there were no conditions on it. He also gave you common sense. Use it! ALL babies are precious, All babies have a soul no matter what color they are blessed with. Too bad the same can’t be said of some adults, eh Latu,Darnell and Laktu??? The ignorance is astonishing in you three.

I think that this is more common then people realize, because there are so few families that make media attention. We have twin girls that are bi-racial and people now that they are older notice there differences alot. Our daughter Khloe has fair skin, dirty blonde hair, light blue eyes while Kaleigh has a darker skin tone, very dark hair, dark brown eyes. Khloe has more of my facial features; and Kaleigh has her fathers facial features and yet they look alot alike. Its a beautiful thing to know that we are all just alike yet we each have our own set of genes from parents and from their parents and so on.

As a training provider we are seeing more and more parents enrolling thier teenage daughters on assertiveness training courses.

Much of our behaviour is a result of how we are treated when we are young. Girls are more often taught the importance of compliance from a young age. Many are taught that the displeasure of others should be avoided at all costs. This means in later life that many women find being assertive contrary to their learned set of values.

It is important, especially for women learn the importance and real value of their own feelings and opinions. The displeasure of others, especially of the dominant or bullying type is not the end of the world. Ignoring ones own needs can be much more damaging in the long term. Remember it is not your responsibility to make everyone else OK. You should treat others with the respect that you would like to be shown yourself, but ultimately if it is reasonable to say no or make a request, then if this leads to the displeasure of others it is their problem not yours.

Never be afraid to speak up for yourself.

Breathe deeply when confronted with aggression from others and stand firm

Don’t let others control your emotions and use them against you.

Constantly remind yourself of the benefits of being assertive

This reminds me a lot of Adam’s twin in the Old Testament, Cain and Abel. One is Adam’s son, Abel and another one is the (devil) serpent’s son Cain. Eve was not a faithful wife though. Within a 24 hours, she was tempted by the serpent and then slept with her husband Adam.

This is why the serpent was cursed and hence goes the missing link. Before the serpent was subtil and upright animal the closet to human being in the animal kingdom. Lost everything after cursed by God

That phrase “freak” I found upsetting. There is nothing “freakish” about these beautiful children! Talk about insensitivity and straight out bias! I have two children 3 years apart. The oldest took her father’s coloring, and the younger is dark like me. Yet, people assume they have different fathers but they don’t. Genes aren’t predictable especially within interracial families. They can go either way.

I am a mother of 3 y/o twin boys one white and black. I get the best questions and looks shock. I would love to send in some pictures. My husband is white/blue eyes and I am Half/white/and black. One twin is dark with dark eyes and hair, the other is very white and toe-head blonde with bright blue eyes.

I think that God is trying to tell us all that He is working breaking the barrier of racism by couples of multiracial decent having twins that can be born with different racial features. To the parents, your childern are a Godsend, to the media, get a grip, it has happened and will happen again. I love the fact that it is happening and that the children are beautiful no matter where they come from. My husband is of black and native american decent, and I am of Greek, Cheerokee Indian, Irish, and White with a touch of Black from one great-great-parent on iether side. All of my children have been born red and grew up with a mocha complexion and fine brown hair and eyes. They all are beautiful because they come from God.

I am of mixed race background and think only
that is time to put race issues to an end.
Biracial genes have been going on since before
our Lord Jesus Christ. His racial background was
of mixed descent. Descendents were David and Bethshebia.
