A couple days ago I posted about a New York Times opinion piece entitled Death by Veganism. I wasn’t the only blogger that was moved to do so - here are some links to what others had to say:
- Barbara at Tigers and Strawberries used to be a fan of Ms. Planck, but this NYT piece is changing her mind. Read about it in her post Nina Planck Stirs the Pot; Vegans Get Steamed: Film At Eleven. Interesting to know that Planck’s next book will be about baby food.
- Emile at The Conscious Kitchen responds to the opinion piece line by line in A Response to “Death By Veganism”.
- Urban Vegan points out Ms. Planck’s meat and dairy business interests in a post entitled Death by veganism–or propaganda?. She also shares her response to the NYT and encourages others to respond as well.
- On Vive le Vegan!, Dreena posts Death - NOT by Veganism. She also shares her eloquent letter to the editor response, making note of her healthy vegan children.
- Elaine Vigneault has a couple interesting excerpts from the NYT letters to the editor in her post Death by Malnourishment.
This is just a small sample of the posts out there. I am really happy to see so many intelligent and articulate responses to the misinformation that was presented in this NYT opinion piece.
