  1. Lori C. says:

I hate how the kitty litter that escapes the litter box gets down in the crevices of the ceramic tile. It is so hard to get out.

  2. The hardest place for me to clean is the top of my couch/recliner/chairs. My cat loves to sit on the back of them and getting the vaccum to suck up all that hair is horrible.

  3. jenny lee says:

The chair… i have this one chair that not only my guests love to sit in, my animals do as well… i always try to clean it before people come over, but my guests usually end up leaving with pet hair all over their behind!!!!!!!!

  4. Tonia Rowe says:

We have a golden retriever/lab and the most difficult thing to do is clean up and vacuum his fur off of the stairs. I would love to win this!!!!

  5. Catharine McElwain says:

Getting up all the cat hair before my husband sees it and complains (again) and doing it without waking him up.

  6. Carvi says:

Cleaning up inappropriate peeing. I took in a stray that the rest of the cats don’t like…and they’ve let me know. Don’t think the Dyson can help with that, but it will really help cleaning up cat hairballs. Thanks for the giveaway!

  7. Catherine KingChuparkoff says:

It is vital for me to keep my daughters room dog hair free with her asthma…

  8. Barbara Long says:

My most difficult pet cleaning task is getting the cat hair off the furniture!

  9. dawn says:

Of course it is the dog hair, but also keeping down the dirt and grass they bring in after their little romps to play outside. outside.

  10. Betty C says:

I have one long haired cat that sheds enought for half a dozen. I got a Furminator and that helps some but there is still a layer of fur everywhere.

  11. Julianne says:

We have a pet hamster who believes his shavings belong anywhere besides his cage. First he takes a bunch of them into his wheel and makes his nest. So we had to add a wheel for exercise. Then every time he goes doo doo he thinks he is a cat and tries to bury it, but ends up kicking all the shavings out all over my daughter’s dresser and carpet. Every day it is a disaster area. But we don’t want to get rid of him, because he is such a lovable sweetie. Very affectionate.

  12. Valeen N says:

My son romps and rolls around with the dogs and then scatters dog hair into every nook and cranny of the house! I’m constantly vacumning dog hair!

  13. Suanne Giddings says:

The animal hair AND human hair clings to and intertwines with every piece of fabric/furniture/carpet in our house. The worst is the crevices/pleats/piping on the furniture. Another trouble spot is under and behind the refrigerator and on the coils. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!

  14. Christine Flansburg says:

I have 2 long haired cats and a tibetan spaniel dog…3 kids and a husband! The hardest area for me is the stairs which I think this would be ideal for.
    Thanks!

  15. valerie mabrey says:

keeping the dogfood up in the corners

  16. Dorothy Spackman says:

I wish I would win this. I need it to clean up after 4 cats (2 are Persian), a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever. Hair everywhere!

  17. M.A. says:

Grooming a fully coated Collie yields tons of dog hair—especially in the springtime!!!

  18. Carrie Miyake says:

My worst would have to be the hair in the truck after I take my 130lb malamute to the groomer or the vet. It gets everywhere and is so hard to get out. I have a regular Dyson but I can not always get it up into the truck to get all the hair out.

  19. Joanna Smith says:

We have an adorable Sheltie, a Black Lab mix and 2 cats and they alone keep me vacuuming everyday, not to mention my 3 young children and husband! Keeping the dog and cat hair from showing up on our carpeting and furniture is my most difficult pet cleaning task. Our pets are truly like our children, extended members of the family and I hate to deny them the pleasure and comfort of getting up on the furniture, but when they get their pet hair all over my dark burgandy velvet comforter, that is when I truly will need this amazing Dyson DC16 Animal Handheld vacuum! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter!

  20. Christine says:

As far as pets go, I’m pretty lucky to have the best ones I have ever met! I have an adult cat I rescued from the Humane Society about 5 years ago and a Sheeba Inu that I’ve had for almost 3 years. If you know anything about a Sheeba Inu, you know that they shed…A Lot! My guys keep me great company durring the day when I am home, unfortunatly I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and my movements are very limited. Therefor, when I do feel well enough to clean, my movements need to be as efficient as possible. I also recently found out I am pregnant (due in May) making it even more important to keep the animal hair cleaned up as much as possible. I truly believe this machine would help me greatly! Thank you for considering me…

  21. Leigh Nichols says:

    Cat hair- EVERYWHERE!!
I have a really hard time keeping Cattywampus off of our bed, and we have a velour-type bedspread. I need serious help!

  22. Louise Werre says:

There are more than one, but the worst was when my daughters little timy terrier –that had never torn up things before- had shredded every magazine, newspaper and anything else made of paper all over the entire house before we got home.

  23. Claudia Dickinson says:

Hardest thing for me is trying to clean the cat hair off of furniture and drapes!

  24. Rachael says:

OK I have two great pyerenees, a shepard mix and 2 long hair cats. I am ready to resort to plastic slip covers!
    Rachael Stewart

  25. Carroll Griggs says:

I have two darling chihuahuas that shed all the time. They shed on the carpet, the chairs and the bed. I need help.

  26. Scott Villa says:

I’m allergic to cats. MOther-in-law has 2 and comes and sits on my couch–I assume after cuddling with her cats for hours. The transfer of hair/dander to my couch is a MUST clean within minutes of her departure to prevent my reaction (which can include hives). Only cyclonic bagless work well for me.

  27. physed says:

Cleaning up the backyard with an enormous black lab.

  28. Alexandrea Morton says:

One of my cats is white, and I have burgundy velvet living room chairs she loves to sit on. I do dig out my full sized vacuum weekly to vacuum it off but it’s a hassle to use the furniture attachment, lint rollers aren’t strong enough to work, my pet hair sponge is too rough for the fabric, and no matter what a couple of days later there’s hair everywhere again.

  29. dana says:

Fourteen indoors cats (at the moment) - thank god for travertine; but I can use all the extra vacuums I can get

  30. Edward Davis says:

Hardest cleaning job for me would have to be the cat tower.I only have the 1 cat but its almost impossible to vac up all the cat hair it catches in the thick carpet where my kitty lays all day.
I always have to brush it with the hard wire cat brush. That works

  31. Ken says:

My biggest challenge comes from my Jack Russell Terrier who loves human food (like any other dog). This wouldn’t be so bad except that she’ll eat anything only to barf it back up when we’re at work. The worst one was when someone gave her mango, which she loved, but which added a wonderful yellow shade to our carpet–something akin to bile with lovely chunks of fruity mango. As a side note, our Shiba Inu one day had to go real bad and turned a lovey asian decorative bowl into his commode. Not difficult to clean, but very creative–at least it wasn’t the carpet.

  32. Lori Walker says:

I get bits of actual bone stuck into my berber carpeting! Talk about painful…

  33. Jennifer I. says:

I have several housebunnies (all litterbox trained) and the worst is when they all shed at the same time–I have dustbunnies made of real bunny hair hiding in the corner of their bunny room constantly.

  34. Brad W says:

Wow this would be perfect to suck up my dogs hair! Thanks for the contest. Hope I win

  35. Sherry R says:

We have guinea pigs and they are constantly kicking litter out of their cage! The Dyson would help keep it all picked up!

  36. Barbara Moorman says:

I have two cats, one is a Maine Coon, with that long, luxurious, silky fur. I also have one dog. Two little girls with really long hair, and my own past my waist hair. It’s actually a toss up as to which is the worst and hardest clean up, since there is /always/ hair to vacuum up, both the pets, and the family’s. Oh, and my husband is a Marine who cuts his own hair, so there are hair clippings all over the floor at least once a week. Hair, hair EVERYWHERE! This vacuum would be a serious godsend in my house.

  37. Heather S says:

My most difficult pet cleaning task would definitely have to be vacuuming up my Bernese Mountain Dog’s long hair that floats all over my laminate floored house!

  38. Sandra S says:

My dog sheds alot. My most difficult thing is getting the pet hair off the sofa. This would be great. Thanks!

  39. Jennifer Sellers says:

I have a 2 yr. old with Accute Asthma. We also own a Queensland Heeler and Boxer/Mastiff mix. We also have two cats that we found in a field by our house. Since my son was diagnosed with the Asthma, I have had to keep the dogs and kitties outside because the “awesome” Kirby (yeah right) does not pick up the dog hair or cat hair at all. I am constantly getting on my hands and knees to brush the hair out of the carpet and off the couch. I would eventually like to let our family members back in the house, but until I can find a vacuum that will pick up the hair, that’s not going to happen. :( And after spending $1500 for a vacuum that doesn’t work and you can’t return, who has the money to go and buy something else? My children and family pets would be ever so gratefull if they could come back inside. Thanks for the consideration. : )

  40. Damien M. says:

My Husky/Shepard Mix sheds endlessly. He will stand for daily brushing and even tolerate his coat being vacummed, but it is to no avail. as his hair defiantly finds its way onto a multitude of surfaces in our home on a daily basis, even clothes hanging innocently in our closet. When he shakes, a hair storm results with hair flying EVERYWHERE. I recently investigated a burning smell from our vacuum cleaner and found pet hair hopelessly lodged in every nook and cranny, it had even found its way inside of the brush roll itself necessitating complete disassembly and reassembly. My vacuum had truly met its match.

  41. Felicia L says:

With 8 cats and 3 dogs, I could always use dyson Animal Handheld Vacuum, I actually went looking but just wasnt in my budget, thank you.

  42. tanya says:

My most challenging is the fur. SO much fur!!! Also all the dirt that gets tracked in because my dog loves to lay, roll, and dig in the dirt. And since she does NOT like having her paws wiped, it can be quite challenging to keep up with.

  43. bill bona says:

hardest would be cat hair & hairballs on rugs

  44. Ladybug says:

We have 4 dogs (shelties with all the hair) and 3 cats of our own plus we foster animals and save them from the kill shelters. What pet hair mess do we not have in this house?? LOL We could definately use this vac.

  45. Lynda Ball says:

I have a shar-pei who’s hair is everywhere! The hairballs are so bad, I’m afraid to mop!!! If the get wet, they might turn into Gremlins!!!

  46. Monique Rizzo says:

    Angora cat fur! YUCK!

  47. My son has an English Mastiff. The drool and the fawn-colored hair that is almost the same color as the carpets….Need I say more? My current vacuum just doesn’t perform at the standard that I’m looking for in a vacuum.

  48. Heather C says:

A dog that sheds her weight in hair daily and two cats who puke every other day. Fun.
