I am starting my first quilt ever! It is going to be a Christmas present for my 11 year old son. It will be kind of funky because I let him pick out the fabrics and his tastes are all over the place! From fishing to baseball to camo and everything in between. The great thing about quilts is that you don’t have to pick out a “theme”. It can be as unique as the one you are making it for!

I have one handed down quilt, but it’s quite ugly. I started quilting classes a few months ago and am loving it.

My mom is a quilter, and while I haven’t really done much on my own yet (only 1 small wall hanging), I have helped her for years and come to love the stories woven in the quilts.

Sounds like a great book! I want to learn to quilt better – so far mine are nothing great. There are some heirloom quilts in my family, but I have not been blessed with them yet – my parents still have them!

I better at sewing the quilt together than I am hand quilting. I finished a baby quilt resently.

I do not know how to quilt, but I have quilts from both of my grandmothers. I love going to sleep at night literally wrapped in their love. What could be better? Thank you for the chance to win… I’ve never read Stephanie Grace Whitson before and would like to give her a try!
