Body Hair Transplants?

So I see this news item about the DermHair Clinic that touts a “new technique” for dealing with hair loss. I almost skip over it, because I’m getting a bit numb to the miracle breakthroughs designed to part individuals from their money with ever increasing creativity. (The cynicism isn’t new, it’s always been there.) But something about this one catches my eye. Right there in the opening paragraph:
…a unique hair-restoration procedure called “Body Hair Transplantation” (BHT) where body hair is transplanted to balding areas on the head.
You read that right: body hair. Of course the first thing I do is take a personal survey.
Face? Too scratchy
Chest and Belly? Not enough
Arms and Legs? Sure so long as I don’t mind the fact that they are a different color and texture. (What would I look like with curly hair?)
Bu- Nevermind…
The article covers these issues, noting that leg hair is often the best source for transplantation. Still, I don’t think so. There’s no health risk to baldness, so what’s wrong with acceptance. Do that and you can move on to bigger and better things in life.
Like tattoos.

i have actually assisted with the body hait transplant procedures. the body hair takes on the characteristics of the hair on your head only its not affected by dht. the memory cells of the scalp will “order” the body hair to continue growing and to soften up.
