Boiled Peanuts Are Your Friend

BoiledPeanutsIn the south, boiled peanuts are a big things. You’ll see them everywhere from flea markets to the super markets. While they kind of look Grosse, they are really good. And according to research scientist did at the Alabama A&M University, boiled are better for you. The shell and skin of the peanuts contain the bulk of antioxidants and when they are boiled the nut absorbs those anti-oxis. Now I don’t know if eating the shell itself along with the rest of it is good or bad for you, but I do it sometimes with fried peanuts. Frying makes the shell very soft and easy to chew. So grab yourself some boiled peanuts…but remember, moderation.
