Book review and give-away: Organizing yourself for multiples

If you’ve just found out that you’re having twins – or more – you may find yourself getting overwhelmed by the amount of work those babies are going to be bringing along with them. Heck, with only one baby on the way, you may be concerned. So, although this book is about multiples, it could be helpful to just about anyone prepare for baby.
I received the book Chaos 2 Calm, by Tonia Tomlin, to review for Womb Within. Tonia is a professional organizer who took that training and brought it to her parenting for her twin daughters. After putting pen to paper (or more likely, turning the computer on), Tonia came up with this book that she calls “the moms-of-multiples guide to an organized family.”
If you would like to see my review, just click on the video below:
Would you like to win a copy? Ok, simple rules for this one.
Write in the comment section why you need to be more organized to help care for your baby or babies. Either tell us a story to show us how disorganized you are, or what you think organization may help you do.
For example, the husband of one of my friends is so disorganized, that when he got their four children (all different ages) ready to go out, he forgot the baby behind. Yup. Luckily, it was only a few moments before it was noticed.
So, tell me your organization story or weaknesses, in terms of baby care, and you have a chance of winning a copy of the book. The contest is open until Monday, October 6, at 11:59 EST. After that, I’ll take all eligible entries, enter them into a randomizer at randomizer.org, and come out with the winner.Good luck!Edited to add:
Please be sure you know what you are trying to win. LOOK at the review. It’s a book for PREGNANT WOMEN or MOTHERS OF MULTIPLES. The book helps mothers (and fathers) prepare for the care of multiples and life with them. It does NOT cover how to keep your laundry room organized or your papers or anything like that.

From Marijke – Hi Sandy – did you watch the review? The book is not about decluttering.
I really need to organize since I keep everything, even the things that I don’t need, but have sentimental value. I would love to win this prize.
From Marijke – obviously you don’t know what the prize really is either? Does anyone pay attention to what the contest prizes actually are???
Thank you for having this. I am a SAHM to 3 wonderful kids. But with all their activities and household chores and being involved i can use a little help to get my kitchen and laundry much more organized. Thank you!

Beth, the book is not about organizing your home, it’s about organizing how to care for multiples – if you watch the review, you’ll have a better idea.

I have too much paperwork and no organization. When I need an important paper or an appointment I have written down I can’t find it. I always miss appointments that I have to reschedulw.
everyone in my house just leaves things all over the place and IM SICK OF IT
I am a mother of twins and then another babe as well. Then I did a surrogacy for friends of mine and after I gave birth to their baby, hubby and I decided to have one more of our own. With three kids ages 5, 5 and 4 years of age – I can always use help and ideas for better organization.
I’d love to pass this book along to a friend though. She has a lot of helpers, so she’d have time to read it – she’s a mom of quads!
Thank you SO much.
