Books for List Lovers

So, it was Toddmen, who often comments on this blog, who got me searching for a book for journal writers on lists. I vaguely recall someone mentioning it once. These are the books I came up with.

Listography Journal: Your Life in Lists
List Your Self: Listmaking as the Way to Self-Discovery
More List Your Self: Listmaking as the Way to Personal Discovery
The Book of Lists (I don’t think is really a journal writing book, but I’m sure it could fire your imagination with list writing ideas.)

Leave a message in the comments section below if you have used any of these books. Also, please share any others you know should be on this list.

  1. Few things in life make me happier than lists. Thanks for *this* list — I’ll definitely check those out.

    Firstly, thank you for making an entry about this just for me :) . I think that these books are good resources for this 100 list project. Many will benefit from them. I was pondering what kind of list I could even make if I undertook the challenge and decided to go with the first thing that came to mind. Since I don’t think anyone will copy it, I’ll tell you what it is: 100 Favorite Japanese Foods. Odd, I know. But when I’m done with it, it will be a good resource for me to see what choices I have available should I ever get to go to Japan. Here in California/America, Japanese restaurateurs seem to only offer dishes they think/know the customers will like. There are so many dishes that I think many in America will like, yet they haven’t made it over here. Making this list will also push me to try new things as well. First up – unagiyaki – grilled eel! *crosses fingers* ^^;

  3. Hi Maria,
    Thanks for commenting. Sometimes lists are about all I have time for. ;-)

  4. Hi Toddmen,
    No worries. Thank you for the inspiration. I hope you get through to your 100 with your favourite Japanese foods. ;-)
