Botox Helped Stroke Victim Walk

Although Botox (botulinum toxin) is most well known for its cosmetic use, doctors have been finding ways to use Botox to help people with physical problems. There
has been some success with using the substance to help people with cerebral palsy and others with migraines. Now, there seems to be a success for someone who had a stroke.
Forty-nine year old Russell McPhee had a stroke at a very young age, 23 years ago. It was severe enough that there wasn’t much hope for him to live independently. However, after receiving Botox treatments, Mr. McPhee was able to walk around his home with just the use of a cane.
