As they say, time does pass quickly, doesn’t it? Botox, the “stay young forever” discovery, is 20 years old. And, luckily, Botox just gets better with age. How? We’ve learned over the past 20 years that Botox can play a significant role in relieving pain from migraines, fibromyalgia, and even the tight muscles that result from strokes or cerebral palsy. It’s even being used for strabismus, or eyes that aren’t even; one goes in a direction differently from the other.
Botox is one brand name of the Botulinum toxin type A. Yes, it is a poison, but used properly, it’s very helpful in many ways. You can read more about Botox and how it helps people live normal lives in this Daily Mail article: Happy Birthday Botox: It’s 20 years old and it does much more than just smooth celebrity wrinkles.

I can’t believe Botox has been around that long. Well, in cosmetics anyway. I tend to think of it as a fairly recent phenomenon. Thanks for the info!
