This summer, what’s on your feet as you go about your shopping, living and loving?
The right shoes — comfortable and a bit fun — can lift your spirits even as you tackle the dishes or laundry. And it’s certainly nice when the shoes are kind to the earth as well.
Simple Shoes has a memorable and eco-friendly sneaker collection inspired by the beach. Joe Curren, surfer and photographer, designed the shoes for Simple.
This is the women’s Cartwheel in Sunset, made with certified organic cotton. It features laces made out of recycled plastic bottles and an outsole made from recycled car tires.

And this is the men’s Careen in Fisherman, also featuring certified organic cotton, recycled plastic bottles and car tires. Both prints are available in women or men’s shoes.

The Fisherman shoe certainly seems to scream “Father’s Day gift” to me…
