Boys Can Tinker Too
Not sure if you have noticed but it is quite cold outside…just a tad colder than normal (unless you count last year, of course). So, AJ and I have been hunkered down after school playing Legos, playing with his car garage (like the one we got him last year for Christmas), and watching Disney movies.
There are several new movies he has found in the last few weeks that he especially likes…all Disney, of course. He is fascinated by Peter Pan because he can fly and because of the sword fighting. He loves to sing with the Lost Boys (and has no idea they are self-imposed orphans) and stands on the couch mimicking Peter as he flies across the ocean.
He also loves Wall-e and would LOVE anything Wall-e related for Christmas, especially if it talks and the eyes pop out.
But, he also like Tinker Bell. He’ll probably kill me in ten years for telling you all that he likes Tinker Bell. But heck…the girl can Tinker! She takes things apart and makes paint ball guns! What boy wouldn’t fall in love with a girl (half naked girl) with gorgeous eyes and blond hair. Um, and did I mention she can fly?
Now, if I told him that she was coming to Chicago do you think he would go? Because last year’s favorite Disney movie, Cars, will be on the ice as well…slipping, sliding, and squealing towards him. Can you imagine Mater trying to drive on ice?
Other acts such as The Lion King and The Little Mermaid are scheduled to skate too. They will be in in Chicago at the Allstate Arena January 21-25 and the United Center January 27 through February 8. Check out more pictures and get tickets at www.Disneyonice.com
