Breaking ground – part 3

In today’s video post the contractors have arrived at my place and have started to dig a massive hole in my yard. Today’s video and tomorrows I think are super great video’s simply because I have been in the trades for 15 years and have never seen this done before. So we all are going to see a very neat, and expensive project getting done right here on Toolbelt Tips dot com.

Just a few things I want to point out to you before you watch this video, and that is to pay close attention to some of the safety tips I point out in this video. There are a lot of contractors who are considered “fly by night” type of contractors and don’t follow a lot of the safety rules and regulations that are out there. I am sure at this point some of you guys are saying ” ok enough with the safety tips” and if you are, this might not be the blog for you to be viewing. Safety is the first and foremost important issue to be aware of regarding what type of project you are getting done or you are doing yourself, and with me having been injured a few times I know what it is like not to know about what to look for so I have to teach you that or at least point out some things you should be aware of.

If you have missed the first two video’s in my “Replacing a water service” video series you can view them by using the following links.

  1. Replacing a water service – part 1
  2. Call before you dig – part 2

Sit back and enjoy today’s video!
