I have been invited to participate in the Breast Cancer Prevention News Conference with Breast Cancer Fund executive director Jeanne Rizzo and environmental health expert Dr. Janet Gray, but due to time zone differences, I couldn’t participate live. However, I sent a couple of nutrition and functional food-related questions in and am glad to find out they were able to squeeze it in. They’ve been collecting donations for breast cancer at safeway grocery stores the past few times I’ve been there. It seems very easy and convenient to donate a dollar while you’re already spending a bunch of money on food. I hope their efforts are working out.
