Brewed Tea May Help Your Teeth

I remember that many years ago, my dentist told me that tea – without sugar or milk – was very good for my teeth. At the time, I drank coffee and tea with some
sugar and couldn’t imagine drinking them black. Fast forward to now and I do drink my coffee and tea black, without adding anything and I now I read again that pure brewed tea is good for your teeth if you’ve had any erosion.
Acidic drinks and soft drinks are horrible for your teeth. As you take a sip and they sit in your mouth until you swallow, the drinks are eroding away the enamel on your teeth. Once the enamel is gone, it can’t be replaced. But, you can prevent further erosion by drinking water or tea, preferable green, but black tea is ok too.
If you do have to drink acidic drinks or soft drinks, dont let the fluid stay in your mouth. Use a straw to sip it and swallow right away, dentist recommend.
