Brown is the New Black this Season

It’s on the runways, it’s on the shelves in housewares, it’s in The Container Store. What is IT you ask? Brown, or should I say Beautiful Bronze from Umbra. This collection from The Container Store is just gorgeous! I fell in love with it immediately. Brown is everywhere for the fall season, so I hear anyway.

It all almost looks too pretty to use doesn’t it? I’ve got my eye on that jewelry box.
I also really like the bulletin boards. I am re-decorating my daughter’s room for her birthday in brown, blue and tan, with the help of my brilliant friend Shauna! Those bulletin boards would be perfect for that.
Speaking of my friend Shauna, I need to get over to her house and take some pictures and post them to my blog here (with her permission of course!). She knows how to perfectly blend organization with style. You guys would love her house!
I love just about all shades of brown; brown and green are my fave colors. I really like the boxes, and the garbage cans, and the boards… and… Really cool stuff. Brown is so underrated.
Green is my favorite color. I have definitely been drawn to brown for decorating. Everything in my living room is brown, with punches of red here and there for color. I agree, brown is underrated sometimes.
Hey, why aren’t our smilies, smilies anymore? Have you noticed that? Hmmmm….
