Build a Free Cat Toy: Cereal Box Hunt & Knock

It’s important to kitty’s health to keep him well entertained. Imagine if you never got to leave your house. It would be pretty boring, right?

If your cat is like mine, he often ignores store-bought toys. That’s where imagination comes into play. Just take a look at your cardboard recycling bin. There’s lots of good kitty stuff in there. Just make sure you remove glue and tape!
For this project, I simply cut a hole in one side of a Cheerios box and stuck a toy mouse inside.

Then, the hunt was on. Choco enjoyed poucing on his hidden prey, digging inside the box and knocking the box over. Just make sure that your kitty can’t get its head stuck inside the hole. : )
