Bulky "Stove Chair"

While I don’t know if I’d ever build the type of chair I saw over at the Two Birds Fly Blog, I know I wouldn’t build it if I had even thought I’d need to move it.  This picture came from a post aptly titled: “Recycled Stove Chair.”

There were no instructions posted with the pictures, but I have to go out on a limb here and assume that they back and bottom of the seat are made from the sides of an old oven.  I hope I’m not wrong on that…

I’m wondering if something similar would be just as cool if made from an old wooden door instead?
