Maybe this may make some women think twice about having Convenience C-sections.

According to researchers in Belfast, Northern Ireland, babies born via Cesarean section have a 20% higher risk of developing type 1 diabetes later in life, compared with their peers born vaginally. Type 1 diabetes is what used to be called insulin-dependent or juvenile diabetes.

The findings are still very preliminary, but you can read more about it in this article, C-section raises risk of diabetes for baby, study says.

This is interesting. I have two cousins with diabetes and both were c-sections.
