Calculating your due date

Trying to figure out when you’re due? If you have a regular menstrual period and you remember when you had your last period, it’s easy to calculate.

  • Take the date that your last period started, for example, May 15
  • Add 7 days = May 22
  • Count back 3 months = February 22

If you don’t have a regular 28-day schedule, it can be harder to be precise, but if you have an ultrasound, your doctor will be able to give you a good idea of how far along you are.

So, when are you due?

I would have been due Jan 26th. I miscarried yesterday, on my birthday. Its okay though, we know it happens and we’re not discouraged. I’m going to stick around because I hope in another couple months I’m pregnant again!

I’m sorry to hear that RP. I’m glad to hear that you’ll still be around. We will be talking about pregnancy after miscarriage at some point.
