Calendars on Sale at Michaels

A Tick Tock Tuesday Post

There’s nothing like hitting a good sale to start off the day right!

I was in Michael’s this morning to pick up some craft supplies and they had a ton of 2008 calendars on sale for $1. Yes, $1! I grabbed several of these Studio 18 Family Calendars that are pictured here. I’ll give it away as gifts or something, but I am also looking forward to using one for myself.

It’s a 16 month calendar and it also has a contact & phone number page and 170 colored stickers. Not bad for one buck.

I like how it has individual spaces for up to 5 family members. Two of my kids are old enough to start writing things down on the calendar (my daughter already does this) and this way, they will have their own spot to write down events they need (aka I need) to remember.

The calendar is absolutely adorable too. It’s one my kids will enjoy using.

The regular price for this calendar is $9.95 and you can pick up one over here and pay shipping costs too, or head on over to Michael’s and spend $1. :)

Now I’m just waiting on 2008 so I can break it open!

Oooh…I love new calendars! Of course, if I ever actually used them, they’d probably be of much more use to me! :P

My husband thinks I have a calendar and day planner addiction. I’m afraid he might be right. :)

It took me awhile to really start to use my calendar. At first when my kids were little and at home with me, there really wasn’t that much to put on there. Feed them breakfast, change diapers, feed them lunch, nap, etc…. Not exactly things that needed to go on my calendar. :)

I’ve used these in the past & they work great! Both my girls dance, so it was nice having the individual spaces. I picked up one of there small calenders the other day. They are spiral bound & have cute little pics on them. I had used one this year & love it for my purse! At our stores they are in the $1 bin section!

@Ginny – I saw several small calendars too and I was tempted to get it. I may go back because calendars make great teacher gifts. I can’t wait to use the big calendar! :)
