California Airport Gets Greener

Browsing through the net, I came across another interesting report. According to what I stumbled upon, one of the airports in California is just about to get greener and that is good news for all of us.

This airport that I am talking about is the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport. I know. It is not that popular like other airports in that state but still it is doing its share in helping the world be free from the struggles that come with global warming. Anyhow, what this California airport is doing is that it is going to be putting up a solar project which would be capable of converting the sun’s rays into usable energy.

9.5 acres. That is how huge the whole solar project would be. Now that huge piece of land would be covered with solar panels. The power that would be generated would be about 40% of the whole energy needs of the airport.

That certainly is good news.
