Camouflaged Homes

This first one is sure not very hidden. Still, there’s no denying that it’s camouflaged.

Personally I like that tree camouflage house that was sweeping the web last year, the one on every architect and design site known to man. I never showed it here, mainly because it was everywhere -overkill. That said, it’s a super slick home, and being that it was everywhere, I can’t remember where I first saw it, but one place I did see it was freshome, which is a blog I adore so I’ll send you there to see more of this lovely, and truly camouflaged house.

My most favorite camouflage house is the Camouflage House by Johnsen Schmaling Architects that I covered here at Offbeat last September.

I was obsessed with this home, actually I still am. I love it. Read all about this amazingly beautiful home and see more photos (in case you missed it the first time around).

  1. Peggy says:

    That first house is painted with 72 colors! It has an interesting story. At first, I thought those were cow spots though.

  2. Jennifer – Thank you very much for the compliments.

  3. The house does have a good story – but I didn’t think of cow spots until you said that Peggy. You’re right though. Funny.

    @M!hai You’re welcome :)
