Can You Laugh At Yourself?

Everyone who knows me pretty well knows that I like to approach my own mental health with a touch – or more than a touch! – of humor. In no way do I think people should make light of mental health disorders, but sometimes I find room for a joke here and there to lighten the mood and my own stress level.
I understand that humor in these situations isn’t for everone; however it usually is for me.
I often feel that laughter is the best medicine, and I almost always feel better after a good joke – even if it’s about my disorder (sometimes especially if it’s about my disorder!) – and regardless of who tells it.
If you like a good laugh every now and then – at your own expense – you’ll understand why Disorder Tees caught my attention this morning. Unfortunately, they don’t have any shirts for bipolar disorder, but there are a few that made me grin.
I’m a sucker for funny t-shirts, vintage t-shirts, movie or TV-related t-shirts, and anything else that doesn’t have “Ralph Lauren” or “Aberrombie & Fitch” splattered across the front. If you know of any other great t-shirt sites that focus on humor, do share!
