Blogs like this focus mostly on the so-called developed countries and sometimes that bothers me. Here I talk about different kinds of treatments and what works and what doesn’t – when there are millions of people who don’t have access to the most basic of pain relief.
According to a report published in September of last year, “…80% of the world’s cancer sufferers have no access to pain relief and 7% of all people in the world suffer cancer pain that could be relieved but isn’t due to lack of access to low cost and effective pain relieving drugs.”
