candy sweethearts? I want fabric ones!

I was grocery shopping recently and saw a display with these:

Necco candy Sweethearts (image source)  I’ve never liked the taste of them, but they looked so charming that I got inspired!

I’ll post the full tutorial tomorrow, but for now you’ll need felt in some appropriately candy-colored shades and a heart cookie cutter (along with your normal sewing & embroidery supplies)
