Caring for elderly parents in your home

A long time ago, I posted about an MSNBC documentary that follows the story of filmaker Julie Winokur, and, her husband, Ed Kashi.

Winkour was optimistic about being able to care for her elderly father in their home.

There was a second installment of the story, Living With Herbie where the reality of the situation is wearing on the family.

Herbie died in January of this year. The story is both heart-breaking and eye opening, but it is a must watch.
