we just had to seperate. i didn’t want to go to the carnival, I am an actress and had job oppurtunities that i didn’t want to give up and he got a promotion. I am doing fine tho

Just read this hilarious book by Harmon Leon where he goes out and tries to live the American Dream by walking in many different groups shoes.
In one chapter he went undercover and lived as a carnie in rural Indiana for a month, sleeping in a trailer behind the Tilt-a-Whirl. All the carnies thought he was an undercover cop.

Nice to see some people respecting carnies. I don’t see this very often. I work with a small unit in West Virginia and I guess I am in it for life. I’m a senior in Safety Engineering and plan to stay in the traveling amusement industry. Oh, and here is an interesting fact if you haven’t heard it before, but the carnies actually have their own language. Ciazarn or Kizzarny.
