Carnival of Family Life #3.14159

Kerri suspects they’ve stopped the official count, so I’m going to be a bit silly.

Hey… Cool! I’ve never participated in this Carnival of Family Life thing. Kerri’s been a regular for quite a while now over at Play Library, but this is a new experience for me. Kinda neat.

So, there are lots and lots of posts… but most of them are about kids. No problem there; kids are cute. I’ve got three of my own. They just aren’t necessarily relevant to our topic. OK, married folks, listen up. Time to get some more married folks-type submissions into the Carnival, right? Go get ‘em!

I am, however, going to highlight this post: Parents Gone Stupid from On the Ponderosa. Why? Because she uses the expression “a come to Jesus meeting.” I grew up with that expression but had never heard it outside the confines of my own family. Brings back memories of days gone by… and reminders of the parent-speak I’ll no doubt pass on to my own kids.
