It’s our second time participating in the Carnival of Family Life, so I’m doubling the number of links! Having another marriage related post (Judgments are made by title skimming and selective reading.) didn’t hurt.

Raising4Boys touches on a subject near to my experience: youth soccer. Having played for 25 years, coached my oldest once or twice, and seen a fair number of kids get chewed up by a hyper-competitive system, I can whole-heartedly agree that there are troubles in youth sports.

And second is a limerick from Mad Kane’s Humor Blog. Who doesn’t like a good limerick? The Listener Limerick Challenge is always one of my favorite parts of Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me. Did you hear Paula Poundstone’s tribute to Carl Castle this weekend? Brilliant!
