Late summer, early fall! A time to dig deep into your soul and scream…….the kids are back to school!!!
Ok, just kidding. My husband Mike will be the first to tell you that I spent the first day of school, every single year, crying. I cried again this August when my nearly grown daughter Dani left for her senior year of college. I’m a sap. I know it. And I don’t care!
One way or the other, it’s time to gather up that late summer bounty, mix it up with the early autumn crops, and take a look-see at what we’ve got for this edition of the Carnival of the Recipes!
Shaula shares Vermont Cheddar Ale Soup (with recipe!). This popular Vermont soup transforms everyday pantry ingredients into a surprisingly complex and substantial soup.
Lovelyn presents Thai Bean Sprout Salad.

Bill sent in several nice treats: Broccoli Salad, Rice Recipes - One Pot Chicken with Rice, Mexican Recipes - Recipes of Mexico - Mexican Dishes - Famous Mexican Recipes - World Famous mexican Recipes, and Cheesecake Recipes.
Diabetic Recipes also shared two recipes: Spring Risotto w Fresh Peas, Shrimp & Prosciutto - 44g Carbs, 3g Fiber, and Zucchini Herb Pate.
Slow cookers start to make a comeback in the fall, and Slow Cooker Recipes is right on top of it: Crock Pot Cuban Pork and Sweet Potato Stew.
Beth keeps it hot with Mexican Horchata.
Jessie shares a passion for panini: Steak Panini. She writes, “Here’s a simple meal that’s quick to make whether is it’s for lunch or dinner it’s still delicious all around! I hope you enjoy making the Steak Paninis as much as I did!”
