Cars You Have Owned

Yesterday the family finally picked up our latest car. This is the newest one we’ve owned; only eight years old. The car was a present from someone who loves me a lot, but we really needed it. Anyway, as I was driving around today, and yesterday, getting used to all the differences, it made me think of all the times I’ve had a new car, meaning new for me.

Spend some time writing about each car you’ve owned. Focus on the feelings you experienced on finally having the car in your possession. Did it take some getting used to? What was different about it compared to your previous car? Did you feel powerful, insignificant, terrified to drive it? Try to remember the details such as colour, model, how much you paid for it and how. These details will help you remember the feelings you had those first few days.
