Cat Cafes for Casual Petting

Would anyone like to invest in a cat cafe with me? I can think of no better excuse to have 25 cats. They’re earning you money! And since it’s a biz, perhaps you don’t look as much like a crazy cat lady.
Just in case you haven’t heard of cat cafes, don’t worry. Cats aren’t on the menu.
Instead, you pay a fee to surround yourself with cats to pet. This idea makes perfect sense in places like Japan, with its small living spaces.
Why own a cat when you can rent several at once? It’s such a soothing idea. (Of course, you don’t leave with the kitties. You just pet them where they are, if they let you.)
I first learned about the cat cafe concept from the Hollywood north report, written by Sarah, living in Kyoto, Japan.
Please do yourself a favor and visit One Hour of Heavy Petting to see inside the cat cafe in Osaka.
Have you visited a cat cafe? If so, please tell us about it.

Hi, I really enjoyed your posting! I had no idea these places existed … what a great concept; it’s really uplifting.
Hi Vera. Thank you for your comment and for visiting! I didn’t know they existed either, so I wanted to spread the word! : )
