Are you looking for a festive cocktail to serve at your Halloween party? The people that made Midori, the melon-flavored liqueur have concocted a layered libation called a “Phantom.” Here’s how to make it:
Midori’s Phantom
1 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur
1 oz. Pernod
1/2 oz. Water
1 egg white
Pour 1 oz. Midori into the bottom of a champagne flute. Shake the Pernod and water, and pour on top of the Midori layer. Add the foam of one egg white. Use a dash of Midori to create green foam.

That’s too pretty to drink.
I love the way that looks!
That looks good, but I cannot drink alcohol, it kills my stomach.
Cool drink !
That cocktail looks awesome. I love the way it looks, I wonder how it tastes. Great one to serve at a party to fancy it up.
A gorgeous concoction…
Okay, I hate to say this but that sounds and looks aweful! LoL I’ll deal with a boody mary or white zombie instead for halloween!
That’s pretty! Don’t know how it’d taste, though.
It is very unique looking and I am curious about the taste with the combination of ingredients! I will definitely have to try it. Thanks, Cindi
Sounds yummy! And I know I like Midori – too bad I won’t be drinking anything alcoholic for a while! At least until baby #2 gets here…
Mmm. That sounds good.
That looks okay, but I don’t think I’d want to drink it.
MMMM~That looks So Good! I am going to have to try that recipe except for I think that I will change it a bit and put whipped cream on top!!
Thanks for the Contest!
it looks cool but I am not sure why they named it the phantom
It’s beautiful, but the thoughts of egg whites in my cocktail kind of turn me off. It might be just as lovely looking in a martini glass withOUT the egg whites.
That looks really cool. I don’t know if it would taste good though.
I wasn’t sure about egg whites either. looks pretty tho
That is a pretty drink. I’d love to see more family friendly mocktails for the holidays (though I’m not against the real thing).
How pretty!
I don’t think I would be able to make it look that perfect!
That is spooky looking, I’m a big fan of spiked apple cider, it gets you tin the fall spirit!
I’ll stick w/cider or hot cranberry punch
It’s the egg white that kills it for me. It looks cool, but I dont think I could drink it.
That looks so pretty – a whole tray of them set out would look pretty neat!
