Famous women are women, too, and they’re not all size zeroes. iVillage celebrates 10 beautiful women who’ve got it going on, and who aren’t afraid to be real. Kudos to these ladies for showing America — and the world — that you don’t have to be stick-thin to be gorgeous:
- Queen Latifah – ’nuff said
- Jennifer Hudson – American Idol turned Dreamgirl
- America Ferrera – from Ugly Betty
- Scarlett Johansson – Sexiest Woman Alive in 2006
- Salma Hayek – ’nuff said
- Tyra Banks – supermodel turned talk show host
- Chandra Wilson – from Grey’s Anatomy
- Jennifer Lopez – flygirl turned international superstar
- Sara Ramirez – from Grey’s Anatomy
- Penelope Cruz – ’nuff said
You go, girls!

Hooray! Can’t help but wonder, though–apart from Ms Johansson, when will the white girls figure out what every other ethnicity has known forever about being sexy *and* healthy?
This list is terrible, especially since it bears the title of “Meat on their bones” There is only three people in this list that fit that description (Latifah, Wislon, and Ramirez who has barely got “meat on her bones”). Also in my opinion just because a woman is over size two, doesn’t declare them chubby or anything that this little article is implying.
I think our definitions of “meat on their bones” is just different, Tahmer.
