A couple of weeks before that, I found out I was pregnant. I didn't want to tell my brother yet because the father would be there and I didn't want any drama, so I had to go to this big bash, complete with lots of alcohol, hide my pregnancy and yet not look suspicious by not drinking. I brought non-alcoholic beer, and luckily my brother didn't notice. Whew! My brother (3 yrs older) threw me a big party for my 21st birthday.
