Celebrity theme week at the Health & Wellness channel

Whether your idea of a celebrity is the latest A-lister movie star , an elite athlete or a politician, the Health and Wellness channel here at b5Media is checking out the celebs and their health and maybe how they stay healthy. So, stay tuned because starting Monday, June 9, 2008 and running until Saturday, June 14, 2008, we’re Celebrity Health Week.

So, I have a few questions and I’m going to find a prize for someone who answers them. Starting on June 9th, any comments related to celebrities in any of the celebrity posts will be eligible to win this mystery prize. And, today’s post counts too if you answer the following questions:

1. Do  you follow the lives of celebrities?
2. Who are your favorite celebrities?
3. If a celebrity has a medical problem, do you appreciate it when they come forth with it? Do you think it raises awareness about that disease or injury?
4. If you could spend the day with one celebrity, alive or dead, who would it be?

I’ll answer first:

1. I don’t intentionally follow them but if I hear or see news, I’ll pay attention.
2. For movie celebs, I love Denzel Washington, I’m a big fan of Tom Hanks. For others, I like Jean Beliveau (retired Montreal Canadiens hockey player and a true gentleman).
3. I think that in most cases, yes, it’s very good for everyone if a celebrity speaks out. Especially if it’s a lesser known problem.
4. I’m going to have to think about this one. I don’t know!
