Charlie Makes a Big Difference

That is how I decided I would answer the question I asked in an earlier post today, Q & A: What is autism?, as I stood watching Charlie swimming in the pool.

As to why the “answer the question in ten words or less” dictum: I am always seeking some kind of shorthand to explain autism, Charlie, whatever is happening at the moment that invites a puzzled look from a stranger, on the order of MSHA.
