Check Out “My Blue Heaven” Quilting Pattern

As I visit quilters who visit me, I’ve come across Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville web site and the lovely “My Blue Heaven” free quilting pattern she offers.  It’s quite appealing, especially if you like blue and white with touches of neutral tan/brown colors.

Bonnie has included numerous photos which give you step by step instructions in words and pictures.  I imagine you can use your imagination and try other colors if you prefer.

I love this quilt! The idea of cutting out so many pieces makes me tingle with anticipation. Patchwork for me is very much like doing a jigsaw, watching the picture emerge, piece by piece! All this time I have been building my stash with no particular design in mind, just simply buying “pretty” fabrics. Now I know what I will do with some of it! Thank you for the inspiration and the fantastic instructions for a novice quilter such as myself!
