Carolyn Hall, Revolution Health’s Center Manager for Cancer sent me an email to pass the word about this wonderful new website (still under construction but already inviting memberships to everyone interested) where you will be able to do the following (upon signing up):
- Rate your doctor and see what others say
- Try a cool tool – understand your risks – learn what to do about them
- Ask health questions and get answers from people like you
- Fill out a profile and invite others into your circle Learn about our upcoming health membership program
- Post links to your favorite health resources & rate them
In Carolyn’s own words:
As you will see, we’re trying to empower individuals to take control of their health and health care. You know how it is: every time you go to a new doctor you have to fill out the same forms. Your own medical records are impossible to get a hold of. It’s easier to find a restaurant than a doctor. In the world we live in, these kinds of things seem bizarre and annoyingly out-dated. We’re trying to tackle these issues and many more.
I think it is a great website where you’ll find valuable information and first-hand accounts about health and health care.
