The Food Network has a biography series titled Chefography. The shows discuss the backgrounds of some of our favorite Celebrity Chefs and how their careers started.
I watched Ina Garten’s
biography the other day. Amazingly she started out, get this, working in the White House on nuclear energy policy, but she always had a passion for cooking. Ina Garten’s passion was in her heart and her lessons came right out of the Julia Childs’ Series, Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
The Chefographys are worth watching if you have a chance. They do not come on at a regular time, but periodically re-runs air. You can learn more about the TV listings here.

I watched this too. I was really interesting, though I didn’t like the “faux-old-style” cinnamotogaphy (sp?) they used.
I love Ina Garten. Being that I’m a homosexual male living in New York, she inspires me to be open and free.
