Chiba Castle sits atop a hill in Chiba, Japan and was the home of a feudal lord who governed the area. 

It has been restored and now houses the Chiba Museum of Local History and It exhibits historical documents and artifacts.  There is also an observatory on the 5th floor, providing a commanding view of the city.

Chiba castle is located about 45 minutes by train from Tokyo.
