Have you seen the television show, The Baby Borrowers? I haven’t, so I can’t comment on the show itself, but I have heard about it and I was wondering a few things about the parents who let their babies be part of the show, and so on.
Now, it seems that some child psychology experts have grave concerns about the show and they want NBC to cancel the program.

Nobody asked the children if they mind being looked after by incompetents. I’m waiting for the accident and the ensuing lawsuit.
While I can’t say I’d be first in line to volunteer my child, the parents ARE able to monitor their children at all times, and are able to intervene if they deem necessary – which several of them have.
As for the show itself, well, I suppose if it discourages even one teen (or adult!) couple from taking on something they can’t handle, then it’s served its purpose.
Mind-Mart – I don’t know if I’d push it that far (re the incompetents) because there are adults watching out for the kids. But I still don’t know how I feel about it.
Liberty – I’m leaning towards your take on it; I’m just not sure.
