Childhood Obesity: Danger Zone

I watched the documentary, Childhood Obesity: Danger Zone, on the Food Network this weekend. I actually thought that it was pretty good and worth watching. It simply touched on the topic, but in fairness the topic is vast and there are no quick answers.
It showed a few programs around the United States working to help children who are obese and at high risk for health problems. It is believed that this younger generation will probably be the first in probably over 50 years that will not live as long as their parents.
One thing I noticed is that with every obese child they interviewed there was at least one obese parent. A subject they neglected to tackle. Maybe one of the reasons there is a childhood obesity problem is because there is an adult obesity problem.
If you missed the show, Childhood Obesity: Danger Zone will re-air April 7th at 5pm EST and April 8th at 6pm EST on the Food Network.
