Children and Alzheimer’s Disease…

Remember last month’s post about Leah Garfiitt, a six year old child with Neimann-Pick Type C disease, otherwise known as childhood Alzheimer’s.
Well, I just posted Children Can Get Alzheimer’s Too over at Healthbolt about another child, Gabrielle LaVerde, who is also suffering from this heartbreaking disease.

Thanks for including Gabrielle in your blog. I design the videos and website for her mother. We just finished a wonderful fund raising dinner held by Gabrielle’s elementary school. Afterwhich we learned that her school mates have raised over $10,000 for their friend, in just a few months.
