This has not been an unusual sight when you walk into my bedroom over the last week or so. A lump under the extra blanket on the bed… wonder what it could be?

He looks thrilled to see me (again), doesn’t he? I can’t stop myself from bugging him every time I go in. Poor harassed kitty.

What do your pets do to get warm?

(No pets were chilled during the taking of these pictures – we’re still hitting the low-70’s during the day!)

Halley loves to get on the bed, on my side, and stay there for most of the night. Otherwise she is sleeping as close to a heater vent as she can get.

  2. Brigitte Walsh says:

Yoshi makes a nest of his bed blankets and burrows down, then gets tired of that and comes to share my blankets.

  3. Kelly says:

When my cats are chilly they usually lay on top of us, which is ok since it makes us warm too!

My little gurl Sissie has taken to going up onto the clothes dryer where I have her Princess and the Pea mattress (it’s actually an outdoor chair cushion folded in half, but it’s nice and high and soft – mammie put a nice soft kitchen towel on top for extra padding.) She has been up there on and off the last three days of this cold front we’ve had here in S. Florida.
