Christmas Crowds

This morning hubby, the little guy and I spent time at the shops doing some of those last minute Christmas things you just can’t avoid. I really should be better organised, but I never seem to get there. Still, it could be a lot worse. We only needed a few things, not everything. But it seems like everyone else was there doing the same thing. Now I’m not one of those people who thrive on crowds. Actually, I’d rather avoid them whenever possible. When I’m in a crowd I feel pressed on all sides and often unable to breathe. Sometimes I panic and just push through the crowd to get away from that pushing, shoving, claustrophobic clawing feeling.

How about you? Spend some time writing in your journal about how crowds make you feel. Do you enjoy being in a crowd or loathe it like I do? Describe the emotions that overwhelm you when you find yourself amidst a large crowd of people. Do you feel the energy and excitement of the crowd and enjoy this vibe? Or do you feel frightened by the sheer volume of people?

I hope you enjoy this journal writing prompt. Please leave any comments in the section below.
