Christmas Excitement

I’m not sure about you, but Christmas doesn’t really get me excited anymore. It’s probably got to do with growing up and becoming boring. I do enjoy the thrill the little guy gets out of it, but for me the whole thing pretty much means more work. That sounds cynical, I’ll admit it. I’d like to be a bit more excited about Christmas things, but it’s just not in me. I had to think about what does excite me these days, then, since Christmas is off my list. The last time I felt really excited about anything was my trip to visit my mother over on the Gold Coast earlier this year.
