Christmas in our new home
As Christmas drew closer, I went against all the convictions I’ve made over the last several months of not allowing any negative feelings enter into my home, my thoughts or my life.
Memories of the last couple of Christmases began to creep in and that planted the seed of fear – that another Christmas might become stressed or even ruined by negative influence.
Much to my relief, this Christmas has been defined as “the perfect Christmas” by all the kids – not just once, but several times.
Being in the new house where secure boundaries are being created really has paved the way for happiness, security and best of all a comfort that’s beyond compare.
As promised, here are a few photos of the new house in all it’s Christmastime glory:
We don’t have everything completely unpacked or in it’s proper place – but it’s getting there.
Regardless, the house is really starting to feel like home.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and wish everyone a wonderful and happy new year.

It’s gorgeous Gayla! I’m so happy about your new house and it’s good to hear that your kids thought this was the perfect Christmas. Ours was one of the best yet too.
